The design is made up of simple lines recreating a serious and classy effect, with a case measuring 42 mm in diameter and crafted from stainless steel. The dial matches perfectly the choice of materials, providing a guilloche pattern on a silvery main plate. The polished stainless steel material was employed both for the case and for the bezel, offering a shiny elegant appearance. The crown located at the 3 o’clock position is being sided by two pushers used for the adjusting of the main functions of the watch.
The new Classima Executives XL Chronograph and Complete Calendar Watch by Baume&Mercier provides functions of telling the day, date and month, but these functions need to be adjusted for the months with 31 days, because it doesn’t use a standard mechanism for perpetual calendar. The mechanism is a mechanical automatic movement defined as the ETA 7751 and has to be periodically adjusted as to guarantee the accuracy of the complete calendar.
The dial presents us with three sub-dials, a 24 hours indicator, a sub-dial for the day and month and a moon phase function at the 6 o’clock position. The date function is indicated through a gold hand that starts from the center of the dial and points to the lateral sides of the dial.
